HEALING PRACTICES & SACRED CEREMONIAL SERVICE IMMERSION

THE PASS OF THE HEALER

The ancient pass of the Healer is an earthy, natural, grounded practice, that keeps all the elements of our being in balance. Healers believe that human beings-along with animals, plants, minerals, water, earth, air and fire -are the parts of the living Earth and Great Spirit.

The Sacred Wheel & The Seven Grandfather Teachings

Foundations for Healers, Ceremony Facilitators, and Keepers of Sacred Space

The path of healing is not a straight line.
It is a circle. A spiral. A returning.

Again and again, we are brought back to the center of ourselves - to remember who we are, why we serve, and how to walk in right relationship with Spirit, Earth, the body, the ancestors, and the people entrusted to our care.

In many Indigenous traditions of Turtle Island, the Seven Grandfather Teachings were given as sacred laws for living in harmony. These teachings are not simply philosophy. They are a way of walking. A way of becoming human in a sacred manner.

For healers and ceremony facilitators, these teachings are essential foundations. Without them, sacred work becomes dangerous.

When people enter ceremony, deep memories, grief, trauma, ancestral pain, fear, rage, and soul fragmentation may rise to the surface.

A facilitator who has not walked through their own darkness, who has not learned humility, truth, ethics, and emotional responsibility,

cannot safely guide others through transformation.

Healing is not performance.
Ceremony is not entertainment.
Sacred work requires maturity, integrity, groundedness, and lived experience.

It requires presence of Wisdom Keepers, Elders, Ceremonial Guides.

The Medicine Wheel teaches us that all healing traditions are reflections of one greater living map.

Every modality - bodywork, herbalism, trauma work, ritual, prayer, plant medicine, breath, grief work,

ancestral healing, sacred touch, transitions, death and rebirth - can be understood through the Wheel.

The Pass of the Healer, Transitional Guide

There are experiences you cannot walk alone.

You can go far by yourself.

You can understand a lot.

You can learn how to hold yourself together.

But there are depths a human being can only enter in the presence of others.

In our traditions, the elders say: when a true circle comes together,

something greater than any one person’s path begins to take form.

A shared field is born- a space that opens and begins to call in Spirit.

This is not a circle where people share and say the “right” things.

This is a space where you can bring your real self.

Where you don’t have to hold a mask.

You don’t have to be strong.

You don’t have to be “good.”

A place where you can come with your pain, your confusion, your darkness- and not be turned away.

At the center of this kind of circle, there is always an Altar.

Not just a place with objects.

A place of grounding.

A place where things come into alignment.

A place where each person brings something of themselves:

their prayer,

their grief,

their strength,

their intention.

The Altar holds what is  too much for one person to carry alone.

It becomes the Heart of the Circle.

In a space like this, people begin to learn something rare.

Not how to fix.

Not how to save.

Not how to escape.

But how to stay.

To hold space for transition.

To become steady for another person - for the ceremony, for the healing that is unfolding.

We call this “becoming a Human-portal.”

In our tradition, these are the Ones who hold the directions.

They sit at the cardinal points, and no matter what moves through the space, they remain.

When someone is moving through fear. When grief rises.

When a person’s identity begins to fall apart.

They stay.

This is not easy.

Because someone else’s process will always touch your own.

It will meet your wounds.

Your fears.

Your unfinished places.

And this is where real initiation begins.

In a circle like this, trust doesn’t come from words.

It grows from experience.

From realizing:

I can be held…and I can hold others.

Without masks.

Without roles.

When the field of the circle becomes strong enough, something shifts.

Deep transitions begin to happen.

And sometimes-miracles.

My elders say: when the circle becomes a true Circle, the lodge lifts.

There is a kind of rising- a coherence between souls and Spirit.

People come in carrying one story…and leave with a completely different sense of who they are.

Not because someone changed them.

But because they were held in a space

where they could let go,

move all the way through…

and not lose themselves.

This is where Transitional Guides are born.

Not the ones who know more.

But the ones who have learned

how to stay when things get hard,

how not to get lost in someone else’s pain,

how not to interfere when something real is unfolding,

how to hold the field even when something is shaking inside them.

A Guide is not a role.

It’s a way of being.

A grounding.

An initiation.

Over time, being in a space like this begins to change you. A deeper inner ground begins to form-

one that doesn’t depend on anything outside of you.

You begin to meet your Shadow, and it no longer has to hide in the unconscious.

You develop the ability to stay present even when everything feels like it’s falling apart.

Your sensitivity deepens- but you don’t lose yourself in it.

Clarity comes-not from the mind, but from stillness.

You begin to feel a deep respect for life’s processes.

And an understanding that everything unfolds in its own time.

And something else begins to grow.

Trust.

Not as an idea- but as something you live.

You begin to understand:

you are not here to control another person’s path.

You cannot rush their process.

And sometimes the most powerful thing you can do is simply stay present.

To hold the space.

Not turn away.

Not run.

Not teach.

Not judge.

The elders say: a true circle is a place where a person remembers who they are in the presence of others.

Not alone.

But inside a living field, a Ceremony.

And right now, spaces like this are deeply needed.

Because the world is changing.

People are moving through profound transitions.

And many don’t have a place where they can fully experience what is moving through them-

even the parts that are hidden, even from themselves.

There is a fear that if we truly let go, something uncontrollable will emerge- something vast,

something that will break everything we know.

The circle is a living fabric of trust.

And when it is held with integrity, it becomes a place where a person not only heals-but begins to feel the capacity to hold others.

And over time, another understanding begins to emerge.

We are not only gathering to move through our own processes.

We are gathering to learn how to hold space for transition- for others, and for the greater Circle of Life.

Because a human life is not linear.

It moves in transitions.

From one state into another.

From one role into the next.

From one cycle into another.

Sometimes gently.

And sometimes like a breaking-like losing who you thought you were.

And in those moments, what a person needs is not advice.

Not explanation.

But presence.

Deep empathy.

Heartfelt support.

Loving, respectful touch.

And a space where the experience can be lived not just through words or emotions,

but through the whole body.

A field that can hold them between what is no longer and what has not yet come.

We invite you into teaching called The Sacred Medicine Bundle and Sacred Swaddling.

But truthfully- this is not only about the practice itself.

An ancient way of guiding someone across a threshold- where one story completes, and another begins to take shape.

It is part of a larger way of life.

Where there is a Circle.

Where there is an Altar.

Where there is an understanding of process.

Where there are people who can hold depth.

This work is not only about what you do.

It’s about how you live.

Because a true Guide is not made through techniques.

They are formed through experience.

Through lived transitions.

Through the ability to stay present.

Through inner steadiness.

And through the transmission of knowledge and experience from those who hold the Altar and carry the Lineage.

Over time, new capacities begin to emerge.

The ability to stay present with someone in difficult moments.

To feel deeply without disappearing.

To see the process not just the emotions.

To trust what is unfolding.

And most importantly-to stop rushing life.

A Wise Witness begins to live within you.

We don’t teach people how to “heal.”

We don’t teach people how to “fix.”

We create a space where a person becomes someone who can be with transition.

With respect.

With attention.

With depth.

You become part of a living ceremony.

Where body, breath, intention, and space come together.

Where something old can be released…and something new can begin to unfold.

And the most important realization that comes through this path is simple:

You don’t need to know everything.

You don’t need to be perfect.

You don’t need to become someone else.

It is enough to become steady enough to not turn away when someone needs you.

And also- to not turn away from yourself.

To stay.

To walk through your own West- through loneliness, fear, grief-and come out the other side.

Into the North.

To gather your own bundle of Medicine.

And from there, both you and the Circle continue.

Because from these spaces, people emerge who can create them again.

Truly.

The way it has been carried through generations.

And is still alive today.

Circles within circles.

And my elders say-this is where our healing will come from.

And where a new way of being human begins to emerge.
